Warranty Info
Before you spend $1,000’s of dollars on new cabinets, research what exactly you are purchasing, and then make an informed decision. This is a list of why Legacy Woodworks is a company to consider more carefully.
1) I have 16 years of experience in the cabinet making business. Experience reduces misunderstandings and mistakes, plain and simple.
2) We use superior materials. We use ¾ inch wood, not ½ inch. We use high quality door hinges and drawer guides. We build the cabinets with blind dadoes- which means the wood is notched to interlock. And most importantly we use dowells on the face frames, not pocket screws. This method takes a little more time but makes the cabinets 3 times as strong.
3) We can provide a better warranty because our cabinets are stronger. We give a 4 year warranty on parts and labor for all new cabinets. Most companies provide a 90 day or 1 year warranty.
4) We put our money where our mouth is. When you sign a contract with us, we will give you a delivery date at the time the contract is signed. If for any reason we are unable to deliver the cabinets on that date, we will reduce the price of the job by $50 per day, each calendar day until the cabinets are delivered. (This is void if the general contractor is unprepared to receive the cabinets).
5) We want you to tell your friends and family about us. If you refer us, when the job you referred us to is complete, we will send you a check for $50. Referrals are our best source of advertising.
6) We take pride in all of our work. We want to take before and after pictures of the improvements. If you allow us to use these pictures for advertising, we will give you $50.
7) We are not afraid of electricity!!! If an electrical outlet is in the way of us installing the cabinets, we will move the outlet. It does not make sense to stop the job half way through, wait for an electrician, and then come back. (We will not move plumbing or cut tiles or do touch up painting).
8) No hidden fees. When we give you a price, it is an all inclusive price. Be careful of companies that leave out taxes or mouldings from their price.
9) Before work begins we will give you a detailed list of exactly what you are purchasing. There are no surprises when the cabinets arrive.
10) Purchasing new cabinets costs thousands of dollars. If you cannot afford it all at once, let us know. We will be able to arrange a payment plan with you. I know this is a lot of information to take in all at once, but it is worth while to learn more about a company than just the bottom line.
